looking forward to the 4th!

its been a couple days, and probably a couple pounds! :)

I have been a hungry boy lately. My bottle just sometimes doesn't come fast enough. I overheard daddy joking with mommy and saying that i was a little beast. i guess i just can't get enough of the Similac Advanced. that is some good stuff!

excited for this weekend though...on friday night we are heading down to the beach with uncle jim and aunt tracy. it should be a great weekend, and from what i hear, the weather is supposed to be great.

not much else going on. daddy keeps saying he is going to post my blog as a link from his website, but he hasn't yet. maybe he will put up some new pictures of me! my fans are calling dad! come on!

a tiring monday

yesterday i got to catch up on some sleep from a stressful weekend. i got to "sleep" at day care where kids are constantly making noise. its much harder to sleep there than it is at home. although our neighbors are having a gigantic project being done in their yard which requires loud machinery to operate off and on. hopefully as I end my fourth month, things will get quieter!

Daddy came to see me at daycare, but I was sleeping apparetnly. Miss Pat told me later that he was there. When he came to pick me up, he was soaked by the rain. I got a little wet too when he took me out to the car, but it was fun. Going home is the best part! :) Mommy was really tired when we got home so me and daddy played while she took a short nap. She was very happy when she woke up. I impressed her yesterday with my "almost sitting up ability". Little does she know that I can write my own blog! hee hee...

This week I am working on turning over. I am just so heavy though, hopefully I will be strong enough to do it. Daddy and Mommy say that I am starting to kick my legs correctly and appear to be turning over. Man, they are pushy, but I love them!

what a weekend!

had a great weekend with mommy this weekend, not sure where daddy was most of the time. saturday morning mommy and jen took me to Chester NJ to a farm there. it was so hot. i sweated most of the time. we didn't do strawberry picking, instead we went in and out of a lot of little houses where you could buy things. mommy picked out a great bone for lucy, and when we gave it to her, she loved it! we got home and daddy was there eating lunch. soon after i napped, and then we were off again....

we wandered out to westfield nj for dinner with jen and bill. mommy and daddy argued on the way there because jen and bill were following us. daddy kept having to remind mommy that they were behind us. when we got to westfield, we didn't know exactly where to go, but finally made it to the jolley trolley. we had a nice time there, and the waitress said i was really cute!

Sunday, we got up early and drove to Delaware. Not sure where daddy went, but i heard mommy saying to someone about tickets to a phillies or something like that. we arrived in time to see Jake's baptism at the church. after the two hour car trip and then sitting in chuch, i got pretty tired of sitting, so i got mommy to take me outside. communication is not my strong suit, but she got it after some major fussing. the christening party was fun too. i got lots of compliments, and a lot of people held me. Before i knew it, we were back in the car and off to a quick stop at mom-mom's. she fed me my bottle, and we zoomed back home to NJ. The traffic was aweful! Sundays are not fun days on the NJTPK.

Today I am off to daycare to see miss pat and the crew...

...and it begins

so today my daddy decided that i should start posting on this thing called a "blog". he says they are an emerging source of editorial and journalistic content. naturally i listened to him cause he's my dad. its been almost five months so hope you all can catch up, oh, and welcome aboard. daddy said he might put a link to this from his website if i do a good job keeping it up to date.

yesterday i had a nice day at knowlege beginnings. i like it there because they have lots of toys to play with and lots of other little kids. those kids tend to cry a lot though. the best part is when daddy comes to visit me at lunchtime. today we played on the mat and he said i almost rolled over (whatever that means). miss pat was going to become a grandmother of twins, i wonder if that happened. she had to leave early.

i was a "fussy bucket" according to mommy last night. i was really tired, but didn't want to go to sleep. finally i slept for a while before my bath. i keep tricking daddy because its so funny. every time he puts me in the bath tub, i tinkle in it. he gets a little flustered and has to refill the tub! bath time is great, though! mommy and daddy tell me that i used to cry when i got a bath, but stopped soon after and started to really like it. they always say that they wish someone would put them in a giant tub and bath them. not sure why that doesn't happen at this point...

today should be a relaxing day...mommy said a mason is coming over to estimate some work on a new patio. i bet lucy will get pretty excited! she gets so happy when people come over. we have had a few close calls with her tail whacking me in the face, but i like watching her. daddy always says he can't wait till i'm old enough to take lucy out and play. well, neither can i!

tonight i have play group with some other mommy's and kids. we are going to a new house this time. last time it was at our house, it was nice cause we ddidn't have to go anywhere! tomorrow mommy is taking me strawberry picking, whatever that is. daddy doesn't seem impressed by it, thats for sure. we are going with mommy's friend jen.
